JORDAN LEE

Growing up in Ontario, Jordan was always fascinated by the human body’s capacity for movement. Jordan’s passion for dancing started when he was in university studying exercise science. During this time, he joined a Salsa class on a whim and was immediately hooked and inspired to begin training seriously.

For Jordan, dance is the perfect way to have fun and connect with people while exploring his natural curiosity with movement.

Jordan has trained with various instructors in Toronto and Montreal, and has taught, performed, and competed in Salsa and Bachata, as well as Standard and Latin Ballroom. He has also dabbled in Hustle, West Coast Swing, and Argentine Tango.

After moving to Calgary, he joined Montuno Dance Company, which has been a great way to continue his dance training and connect with the dance community. Jordan is currently part of Montuno Dance Company's performance and competition team.

As a teacher, Jordan gives simple but detailed explanations that resonate with students of all levels. With this experience, students will surely have a unique and fun experience in Jordan’s classes.

Jordan is known for elegance and a clean lead-follow connection, and for blending moves from other styles into his Salsa and Bachata dancing, all of which he emphasizes in his classes.
